Original thermostat part number 6535B335 has a 3-Pin Connector & the replacement thermostat has a 4-pin connector which has an orange wire to the 2nd stage (this wire is not typically needed).
In order to use the new thermostat you can choose to order this conversion adapter harness which will quickly and efficiently perform this conversion process.
